Although not a cook by trade, I’ve always loved tinkering in the kitchen. Lightening up recipes and creating healthy alternatives to feed my growing babies has been a welcomed challenge.
In 2012 I was given a kids cookbook with a basic granola recipe that my then 4 year-old son and I decided to try (of course with a number of ingredient substitutions). We both loved the results, and with a healthy base recipe, I decided to do taste experimentation. Sharing my creations, I heard over and over again, “you should sell this stuff.” So, in 2015 I applied for my CFO permit and Totes My Oats was born.
After hundreds of trials with different sweeteners, oils, spices, nuts, and fruit, I’m elated to share with you my favorite granola recipes. I hope you enjoy eating it as much as I enjoy making it!
